Why Don't We Just Dance by Josh Turner // My Only Wish This Year by Britney Spears

Why Don't We Just Dance by Josh Turner

Sorry, it's a little rough because it's live, but at the same time it's a pretty good live version. So I've been into country a lot lately, and I have found this song to be one of my favorites. Listen to Josh Turner's voice -- I love how it goes from really deep to a higher pitch (but still deep that you know he's a man lol)

Christmas/Holiday Song of the Day:

My Only Wish This Year by Britney Spears

There was a music video for this song, but it was in really bad quality so I just got a song one. It's an apartment favorite with all of my roommates - so it is today's song!
Enjoy!!

Hey, Soul Sister by Train // This Christmas by Christina Aguilera

Hey, Soul Sister by Train

This song is so upbeat! I love it and it has the instrument in it (that I do not know the name of) that has that hawaiian kind of feel... do you know what I mean? I heard it on the radio this morning while I was driving to a job interview!

And because it is December 1st I've decided to do Christmas/Holiday Songs of the Day!

This Christmas by Christina Aguilera!

Love her voice! You really can't go wrong! Happy Holidays!!!

Weekend Wars by MGMT

Weekend Wars by MGMT

Just listen. Feel the music. Its a perfect song to listen to laying in your bed with your eyes closed. I've recently discovered MGMT and at first I didn't really enjoy their music, but the more I have listened to it the more I enjoy it, so I hope you like it as well!

DOUBLE WHAMMY. Today's (11/29) and Yesterday's (11/28) Songs

November 28, 2009

Sweet Dreams by Beyonce

It's really a catchy tune. I absolutely love the chorus (so much it is one of my ringtones haha). I heard it on my drive home yesterday and couldn't get it out of my head.

Need You Now by Lady Antebellum

This song is amazing. To put it in a nutshell. The voices blend together so well and if you have just broken up with a loved one, I'd say it's a good break up song, but not the type to bring you up from a break up (if you know what I mean). I was on my way to my boyfriend's house and listening to the radio and this song happened to be the #1 song for the week maybe? All I know is that it was number 1. So enjoy today and yesterday's song of the day!

Haven't Met You Yet by Michael Buble

A tad late again. Sorry - It's the holidays & black friday has made me EXHAUSTED.
Alright so today's song is Haven't Met You Yet by Michael Buble.
I was listening to his CD today while driving around with my Mom doin' the crazy shopping spree. I really love his music. His voice is amazing and I really want to see him in concert. Enjoy his music vid and of course -- the song!

Bad Romance by Lady Gaga

Bad Romance by Lady Gaga

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE. I'm just a little late on today's song of the day, but it Lady Gaga's new song. Its so weird, yet so catchy. My brother's girlfriend was humming it earlier and it just happened to get stuck in my head. So enjoy! =]

Good Directions by Billy Currington

Good Directions by Billy Currington

Time for some variety! This song happens to be my alarm clock - so because I had to drive back home today I found this song was the perfect way to start the day. It was the first song on my playlist! The song is completely upbeat and has a happy ending! SO what's not to like. Even if you aren't a country fan just listen for the chorus and see if you start tapping your foot.

Rock & Roll All Night by Kiss

Rock & Roll All Night by Kiss

Day 2 and this is the song I have decided on. Honestly my boyfriend has sung the chorus randomly for the past week and he just sung it 5 minutes ago so WAHLAH! The song of the day is here lol.
After watching the video above, all I have is questions... Why did they wear hooker heals? How long did it take to remove the makeup off their faces, and really just WHY?! I mean if you have been to a KISS concert it must've been a great show. They look very entertaining and they look like they could really keep the crowd going. Who knows... but it is a good song!

The Beginning Is The End Is The Beginning by The Smashing Pumpkins

The Beginning is The End is The Beginning - The Smashing Pumpkins

As I was doing homework this afternoon for one of my classes, I had to watch the Watchmen trailer and compare it to the actual comic. This song was playing through out the trailer and my roommate & I really fell in love with the song and played it over and over again. It's dark but unique and you just want to have it on replay. I guess it sort of fits the weather outside because we've had beautiful weather all this week, until today. The clouds have started to form outside and finally a cold front should be coming through. Slightly off topic, but that is the first of my Song Of The Day!
